A week after landing

So we have been in Thailand for a week now and I’ve been enjoying it alot. The tuk-tuk’s are just awesome and so are the red trucks. So far we have been to the zoo, Thai embassy, Indian embassy, Night bazaar, market’s, and Chiang Mai Inn and many more places.

Thailand is very different to NZ in many ways. Ex: they have a different culture. Thailand’s main religion is Bhuddism. Bhuddism is about respecting all things and finding peace within yourself.

The Thai people are very friendly but the thing’s they eat I didn’t like at all. Ex: cockroaches, maggots, toads, cat fish, eel’s, snail’s, rotten fish and many more. But I did find some food that I did like…. Chicken and pork noodles, fried rice and pork, fresh coconuts and meat sticks yuuuuuuuuuuuum ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I am going to try and guess how many scooter’s there are in Chiang Mai. 1,2, miss a few, 10,999, 1,000,000. They are everywhere. They maneuver through the traffic like they are never going to get hit. Same with the dog’s and the cats/the strays. They are living in the middle of the parking lots, hanging around the inns and every where else.

I thought my first week in Thailand was pretty cool. Bye!!ยก

Lukoia Coffey over and out.

Request about the blog. Can people please put questions up on the comments as I’m going to do one whole blog on trying to answer your questions. Thank you.

  1. We do like the photo of the tuktuk – thanks for showing us what one looks like. ..and for your description of the mini-bus ride to Pai. Grandpa and I are going to invest in a larger map of southeast Asia so we can follow your travels without the need of a magnifying glass! Hope your warts are better… love to you all.

  2. Hey Koia, as often as you can, eat and drink fresh coconuts. They’re the best thing ever! Better than water if u want a drink, better then sugar if u want something sweet, better than weird spicy food if you want something delicious and nutritious and filling. Find out about them, how much is it to buy one? Where do u go in town to get the best ones? The sweetest ripest, yummiest ones. Learn how to use fresh coconut as an awesome ingredient in sooo many recipes. How to select the best ones, how to cut them perfectly with the machete, how to climb the trees to get them without cutting up yr legs and feet and how to grow them. What climate and conditions do they prefer for optimal growth.
There you go… you wanted questions…..so go forth and find the answers to all the above, and I’ll be stoked to read what you can teach me… love you always, Mama Kahu x x
